Snow in Georgia?

Like many of my neighbors, I had to go outside yesterday and document proof that my house had actually experienced snow. It is such an abnormality for Georgia, to get snow that actually sticks (at least to the grass) and is not just a passing flurry that sends everyone into a panic emptying grocery stores of bottled water and bread. I was at a store Thursday when the first flurries started and the girl at the register said- I've never seen snow before, I lived in California, and then here. So I told her she should take a break and step outside because it might not last very long. Charles acted surprised that I was so delighted to see an actual snow storm in Georgia. He says to me, there was a huge snow storm in like '91 or '92. And I said, yes Charles, that was over 15 years ago!
