Resemblance?
The big question we get with Leif is- so who does he look like? Or people will just say "He looks just like you" and just as many will say "He looks just like Charles". All that means is that he's a good mix. While we were home in NJ I got a baby picture of me, and forgot to get a baby picture of Charles, but hopefully I'll get one soon. Here's me, I think about 2 weeks old, compared to a picture of Leif at one month.We went for Leif's 4 month check up and immunizations yesterday. He is 18 lbs 8 oz, and 27 inches long. Basically, he's the size of your average 7 month old. The doctor just told me to remind people of how old he is, because they will expect him to be developmentally further than he is. Other than that, the doctor says he looks great, and gave the go-ahead for riding in the bike trailer on smooth pavement. We're pretty excited about that!
The doctor also explained that his stomach isn't nearly as large as it appears, his muscles just aren't developed enough to hold it in...exactly what's wrong with my stomach!

Can you believe those plastic "seats" they used to put us in? Crazy!
My sister and I look a lot a like, but we actually look like different parents. I look more like Mom and Janelle looks more like Dad. Except the noses are swapped. My conclusion is that my parents actually look a lot alike. Same is kinda true of you and Charles.... I always figured it's because when you get married, you spend so much time together that you start to look like your spouse. (-:
I agree- I think Charles and I look way more alike than my brother and I do, and my brother and his wife look a lot like each other. Do you think maybe people are often attracted to people who look like themselves?
